What factors contribute to perfect biscuit sogginess?
I am trying to work out an equation to calculate the exact time required to dunk any given biscuit to achieve perfect sogginess in a cup of tea. Perfect sogginess is defined as the softest a biscuit can be without breaking faster than the minimum time required to eat it. So far the factors I have considered are: Temperature of tea. Windspeed. Biscuit brand Time taken to eat biscuit. Angle biscuit is held at during consumption. Any other contributions, or would somebody like to have a go at the equation?

Who invented the Shortbread biscuit?
It has to be the best biscuit out there - Surely the inventor won a Noble Peace Prize - many peace agreements would have been made over tea/coffee and shortbread... Either who or exactly which country it orginates from would be a fine answer.
